It’s really amazing to see, how Cezanne did all those different versions of the Card Players. He did separate portaits of the men that were in the drawing. The man with the pipe, for example.
Vlad, yes, good. All men were done as individuals — and then put together. That really changes the way the final painting comes across to the viewer. (Psychological reading, etc.)
